1. Upfront Payment Terms
If you choose to pay for your website upfront rather than on the Monthly Website Plan, this applies to both Duda and WordPress builds.
- 50% deposit is due before work begins, to confirm your project and secure it in our schedule
- 50% balance is due on completion, before the site goes live / final files are handed over
- Branding and photography, if included in your project, follow the same 50/50 structure unless otherwise agreed
- Hosting is billed separately on a monthly basis regardless of how the design cost is paid — see Hosting below
2. Monthly Website Plan Terms
Duda builds only — the Monthly Website Plan is not available for WordPress projects, given the additional development work WordPress builds require upfront.
The short version: the Monthly Website Plan spreads the cost of your website design and copywriting over a minimum 12-month term, with hosting included. After the minimum term, it continues monthly until you give us 30 days' notice to cancel. Branding and photography are separate, one-off costs paid upfront, not part of the monthly plan.
What's included in the monthly fee
- Design and build of your website (the pages and scope agreed at the start of your project)
- Website copywriting, if selected as part of your quote
- Hosting for the duration of your plan
- Ongoing support and updates as described in your proposal
Not included: branding/logo design and photography are priced and invoiced separately as one-off, upfront costs, even if you're on the Monthly Website Plan for your website itself.
Minimum term
The Monthly Website Plan has a minimum term of 12 months from the date your site goes live. The monthly fee is calculated by spreading your website's design cost across this period.
After the minimum term
Your plan does not automatically stop after 12 months. It continues on a rolling monthly basis at the same fixed rate, covering your ongoing hosting, support and updates, for as long as you remain a Norte client.
Price changes
Your monthly fee is fixed for the life of your plan. We will not raise the price of your Monthly Website Plan after your minimum term ends.
3. Hosting
Hosting is billed at £24.99/month and collected automatically via Stripe subscription, on the same date each month as your first hosting payment. This applies whether you paid for your website upfront or are on the Monthly Website Plan, and on both Duda and WordPress builds. If a payment fails, we'll get in touch to resolve it before any suspension of service.
4. Transfers & Cancellation by Platform
What happens if you want to leave, or move your hosting elsewhere, depends on which platform your site is built on:

Your site will remain live until the end of your 30-day notice period. Hosting will stop at the end of that period unless you arrange alternative hosting in advance.
5. General Terms
Figures shown in our online quote calculator are estimates for planning purposes. Your actual cost — whether upfront or monthly — is confirmed in writing before any agreement begins, following a discovery call.
If anything in these terms isn't clear, get in touch before signing up — we'd rather explain it properly than have it be a surprise later.
